This region known as The Purbecks, has its own micro climate and has some of the highest sun hours and average temperatures in the country. Its coastline is recognised as nationally important for its wildlife and marine species. It is a World Heritage site. The geology is equally important and impressive, with visitors coming from around the world to study its rocks and fossils.
Lulworth is part of the Purbeck region. The pretty village of West Lulworth leads you down to the cove. From there you can follow the coastal path towards Durdle door with dramatic coastal views along the way.
